About Isabel

I'm a writer. In all forms of the word. I'm a creative.

I grew up in Miami from a creative Salvadoran family and have written as far back as I can remember. I wrote poetry at first and as I got older I perfected my craft once I joined The Buccaneer as a writer. I was promoted to copy editor and eventually became the newspaper itself as managing editor. I’m getting my start with a dream of a job in writing on culture and entertainment. my craft has become my life. and I hope to fulfill my dream even more as i start my journey after graduation.

I have a passion for writing and storytelling. I have been writing poetry ever since I can remember. Every day I am closely following politics, culture trends, and breaking news when I am not drafting ideas and pieces for my print and online publication.
